[Friday, 28 May 2010] LONDON: Responding to the attacks in Lahore this morning killing over 70 people, Shahid Mursaleen, spokesman of Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK said “There is widespread condemnation and outrage amongst the Muslim community in the UK in response to the latest Taliban attack in Lahore.”
They also visited the Minhaj University, where they learned about the activities of Minhaj-ul-Qu’ran in promoting peace and tolerance through the spreading of Sufi teaching and engagement in interfaith dialogue. A constructive discussion with the teachers and students underlined that the voices of moderate Islam had to be as organised and motivated as those of extremism.
